Le chemin de fer Transgabonais, exploit\u00e9 par la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Setrag depuis 2005, se pr\u00e9sente comme un outil strat\u00e9gique du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e9conomique au Gabon, en permettant l\u2019acheminement des minerais exploit\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du pays jusqu\u2019au port d\u2019Owendo.<\/p>\n

Dans un esprit d\u2019accroissement d\u2019utilisation du r\u00e9seau et de s\u00e9curisation de la voie, le programme de remise \u00e0 niveau des infrastructures ferroviaires du Transgabonais (PRN), financ\u00e9 par la Banque Mondiale, Proparco et l\u2019AFD, a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9. Diff\u00e9rents ouvrages ferroviaires devraient dans ce cadre \u00eatre construits sur les emprises concentrant le plus grand nombre de populations, \u00e0 savoir les 15 premiers kilom\u00e8tres depuis la gare d\u2019Owendo et la zone de N\u2019Koltang.<\/p>\n

De ce fait, de nouveaux Plans d\u2019Action de R\u00e9installation (PAR) et Plans d\u2019Engagement des Parties Prenantes (PEPP) ont d\u00fb \u00eatre initi\u00e9s afin de garantir la bonne r\u00e9alisation des travaux, tout en respectant les Normes de Performance de la SFI. L\u2019objectif principal de cette mission \u00e9tait ainsi d\u2019assurer une assistance technique pour la mise en \u0153uvre du PAR et du PEPP initi\u00e9s en 2018.<\/p>\n

Insuco a ainsi assur\u00e9 l\u2019accompagnement m\u00e9thodologique et la coordination des \u00e9quipes de la Setrag, pour garantir la r\u00e9ussite des plans d\u2019actions, en conformit\u00e9 avec la r\u00e9glementation en vigueur au Gabon et les standards internationaux (notamment de la SFI).<\/p>\n
