{"id":62535,"date":"2026-09-02T19:35:41","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T17:35:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.insuco.com\/le-cout-humain-invisible-de-lia-et-les-vertus-de-lengagement-des-parties-prenantes-le-social-sinvite-a-la-conference-geomin-2026-a-tachkent\/"},"modified":"2026-10-02T19:46:19","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T17:46:19","slug":"le-cout-humain-invisible-de-lia-et-les-vertus-de-lengagement-des-parties-prenantes-le-social-sinvite-a-la-conference-geomin-2026-a-tachkent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.insuco.com\/en\/le-cout-humain-invisible-de-lia-et-les-vertus-de-lengagement-des-parties-prenantes-le-social-sinvite-a-la-conference-geomin-2026-a-tachkent\/","title":{"rendered":"The invisible human cost of AI and the value of stakeholder engagement: social issues take centre stage at GEOMIN 2026 in Tashkent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Dr Pascal Rey, CEO of Insuco, and Margot Petitpierre, Managing Director Asia, were pleased to take part in GEOMIN 2026, held from 14 to 18 September 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.<\/strong> Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and organised by the <em>Society of Exploration Geophysicists<\/em> (SEG), the conference brought together international experts to discuss cutting-edge geoscience technologies and AI-assisted exploration practices in Central Asia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Recognising Insuco\u2019s expertise in social performance and sustainable development, the organising committee invited us to contribute to the conference\u2019s technical programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>Insuco therefore played a dual role in the conference:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Margot Petitpierre joined the Technical Organising Committee<\/strong> and spoke at the session <em>\u201cThe invisible human cost of artificial intelligence\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pascal Rey chaired the session <\/strong><em><strong>\u201cThe future resource economy: technology, investment, strategic minerals and socio-economic development\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, while also presenting his work on <em>\u201cInternational E&amp;S Standards as territorial frameworks: what strategy for the smooth and sustainable development of mining projects?\u201d<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The event provided valuable opportunities to meet key players in the mining sector and offered an insight into the remarkable momentum of the sector in Uzbekistan, a country undergoing significant transformation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We would like to sincerely thank SEG and Catherine Truffert for the excellent organisation and for making this conference such a success.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr Pascal Rey, CEO of Insuco, and Margot Petitpierre, Managing Director Asia, were pleased to take part in GEOMIN 2026, held from 14 to 18 September 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
