The first phase of the mission consisted in developing the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) of the project, with the objective of identifying the project stakeholders and assessing their influence, analysing their fears and expectations, and defining a communication and consultation strategy. Following the SEP, a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) was conducted to produce the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) of the project.
The following deliverables were provided to the client:
- A Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) that includes stakeholder inventory and analysis, recommendations for a communication and consultation plan and a complaints management mechanism
- A Social Impact Assessment (SIA) that includes an Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP)
